Local Champions
Our London Borough of Culture Local Champions feed into decision making, helping to shape the programme and deciding on the award of grants. Made up of Wandsworth residents from diverse backgrounds, the group are ensuring the year is truly made with, by and for local communities.

Ajeet - "I am deeply passionate about Wandsworth's growth and development, and am keen to ensure that the rich cultural production within the borough is showcased."
Conor - "I am a very creative individual who will bring loads of ideas to the table but also can be a great advocate and voice for accessibility & inclusion in terms of disability/mental health/neurodiversity."
Mareshah - "I would like to ensure the grants are put to good use and creates opportunities for all people of Wandsworth."
Sahar - "Being part of this campaign is very close to my heart."
Sally - "I live in the borough and am a fervid suppprter of the Arts - both locally and across London following a very rewarding career in the Arts and culture/heritage sector."

Venessa - "I would like to bring the awareness, accessibility and inclusivity by providing safe spaces, bringing partners and supporters together through a range of activities and events in Wandsworth."
