Local Champions

Our London Borough of Culture Local Champions feed into decision making, helping to shape the programme and deciding on the award of grants. Made up of Wandsworth residents from diverse backgrounds, the group are ensuring the year is truly made with, by and for local communities.

The Liberty Advisory Group

The Liberty Advisory Group provides collective oversight of Liberty, the Mayor of London’s flagship festival for D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists.

Since 2019, Liberty has been embedded within the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture programme.

The Liberty Advisory Group contributes guidance and advice towards the planning, delivery and legacy of Liberty Festival, in alignment with the Mayor of London’s policies and the London Borough of Culture programme.
