We're celebrating the borough's South Asian communities, culture and and heritage during South Asian Heritage Month (17 July - 18 August)
First launched in 2023, Wandsworth celebrates South Asian Heritage Month each year. For the borough’s year as the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture we are supporting eight exciting cultural projects, specially commissioned for our 2025 programme.
Receiving grants of up to £2,000 from Wandsworth Council and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this year’s programme includes a variety of events with comedy, food, music and workshops on offer plus celebrations of DIY culture and of Tara founder Jatinder Verma.
