South Asian Heritage Month Activities & Festival
Discover the richness of South Asian traditions with interactive workshops, cultural activities, live performances and delicious food, bringing the community together in a colourful celebration of heritage.
Celebrate South Asian Heritage Month with a programme of free cultural activities for all ages. Discover wellbeing through yoga, learn energetic Bhangra dance, enjoy traditional Carrom board games, and take part in a hands-on South Asian food workshop. Throughout the month, participants will prepare for our grand finale: the South Asian Food & Creative Arts Festival.
The festival features delicious food from Afghanistan and Pakistan, live performances by The Dhol Players, local Bhangra dancers and Bollywood music, alongside an exhibition of South Asian embroidery created during the project. Whether you’d like to learn a new skill, experience different cultures, enjoy live entertainment or connect with your community, everyone is welcome to join this joyful celebration of South Asian heritage, creativity and togetherness.
