South Asian poetry & song at Battersea Power Station's Arches Lane Theatre, headlined by Rishi Dastidar and Gita Ralleigh, with Suman Gujral, Gurmeet Kaur, Koushik Banerjea, Anita Pati, Renu Gidoomal and Rishika Williams.

On the afternoon of 25th July, Voices of Wandsworth brings you poetry and song. We gather from 13:30 with a community mapping of the languages and identities in the room. Opening address from poet Suman Gujral, South Asian literary lead and founder of Third Space. Following with sung folktales, the ghazal and its adaptation, immersive forms, through to contemporary and modern poetry and prose. We journey across the subcontinent from Shah Abdul Latif to South London. Expect Sindhi song, immersive work, a curated open mic and an artists' book stall run by Renard Press. The programme will finish by about 16:30. We must leave the venue by 17:00.
