Sikh & Explore Heritage

Join us with Sikh artist PiNS for creative sessions for everyone, including children, from our community. We will foster an open approach in making an invigorating space to connect, heal and nourish through creativity. Our designated ‘Art Space’ will allow creation & display of artworks inspired by Sikh stories. We will deliver and curate works that bridge current communities as well as inviting new connections in the area. We will motivate interest in the arts, not only to enrich individuals’ understanding through heritage, but to build their artistic confidence. Our doors are open to people of all faiths and we hope these sessions will serve to bring harmony and cohesion in the local community. There will be 4 creative sessions during July & August, on Saturdays, & will offer the community a chance to respond creatively to ‘Local Sikh Heritage’ through visual art, creative writing, music and sports activity. A free communal kitchen will serve vegetarian Panjabi food.
