Originally built in 1893 as Battersea Town Hall, this building has a long queer history rooted in radical politics, social reform and performance.

A Public Address

Award-winning theatre collective Quarantine took over the former Town Hall to ask: who gets heard in a place like this today?

Sim Campbell sits centre stage on a sofa. He is a black man with dyed dreadlocks, wearing a black vest, grey shorts and white socks. He's surrounded by mysterious figures wearing trench coats, masks and hats. They frame him as they pass objects to eachother, behind and around him. But Sim is looking intently at his own hands, which are held up in front of him as he uses sign language.
