Lania Hamilton presents a workshop of her second play, Angel (Work-In-Progress).
“I watched an angel die on the hill.”
The fever of late June. Something writhing in linen and long grass.
In witness of a small apocalypse, a make-shift ritual is performed: Tennessee Williams, a wallet’s magazine cut-outs, second-hand desire, and transcendence is met by failing technologies of memory.
A live rehearsal with four performers and Hamilton herself, the workshop organically cycles through heritage readings and new writing, presenting a repository of electronic desire and anxiety.
