The Games Maker Choir
We love being part of a community that is bursting with creative talent and opportunity. It gives us the opportunity to speak to and perform with many different types and styles of music and groups.
We are The Games Maker Choir formed at The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park by a young, volunteer Games Maker at London 2012, made up of sporting volunteers & have been performing for British sport at some of the biggest sporting events and venues ever since. Our appearances include The World and Para World Athletics Championships, Rugby World Cup, BBC Sport Relief, Women's Hockey World Cup, The Rugby League World Cup, & the Aviva Premiership Rugby to name just a few. We are The Choir for Sport.
We are a non audition choir & rehearse on the 1st Saturday of the month & welcome new members. We have been based in Wandsworth since 2012.
Our aim is to surprise & delight our audiences with fun, contemporary repertoire & to promote sports volunteering. Many of our members continue to volunteer at sporting events worldwide.
