Belinda

Belinda Lee Chapman is a theatre maker, movement director, and filmmaker with a background in dance and puppetry. She trained at the English National Ballet School and the London School of Puppetry. A core member of Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures for six years, she performed lead roles in major international theatres. Belinda founded Bound 2B Theatre, focusing on work for young people and socially excluded groups, and directed Our Space at Theatre Royal Plymouth, engaging diverse communities. She completed an MA at UAL, creating Code of Movement, selected for UAL’s Standout Graduates. Belinda has also worked with the National Theatre, National Youth Theatre, and Theatre 503. Her work combines movement, puppetry, and social change, exploring themes of connection, vulnerability, and community.
