In Bloom Wellbeing
I am an Ikebana Teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana Japan and the founder of In Bloom Wellbeing. Ikebana is a minimalist Japanese art form of flower arrangement. It is a hands on activity and is akin to creating a living sculpture that is more than just arranging flowers - it values space, simplicity, asymmetry and connection to nature. In Japan it is considered one of the top 3 classical art forms. This time-honoured tradition has been practiced for centuries by Buddhist monks and even Samurai warriors.
The practice of Ikebana has a meditative quality that effortlessly clears and calms the busy mind. And so our curated workshops are designed to inspire creativity, mindfulness and transform seasonal flowers and plant material into expressive works of art.
Each class is a serene environment for forging meaningful social connections whilst discovering the beauty of what nature offers throughout the seasons.
