Berlioz’ 'Harold in Italy' is an exciting work, inspired by Lord Byron’s epic poem 'Chile Harolde', brought to the borough by the Wandsworth Symphony Orchestra, featuring viola soloist, Robin Ashwell.

WSO are also performing Rachmaninoff’s 1st Symphony – an epic work, and lovers of Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto or his Second Symphony will not be disappointed by its strokes of genius. It’s full of Rachmaninoff’s typical lush themes, brilliant orchestration and drama.
