Transient Belonging/s comes to a close with a collective gesture. The closing procession shifts the focus from assembling and holding things in suspension to letting them go. It emphasises circulation, transformation and release. Led by the Pavilion research group and joined by residents and guests, it returns materials from the pavilion site along the Smuggler’s way to the local Waste Disposal Centre. Objects that have been displayed, discussed and revalued are reintroduced into the wider material cycle, as the pavilion structure itself begins to be dismantled, and its components released to reuse.
