Archivist Emma Anthony was delighted to find out from a researcher that artist Pamela Coleman Smith lived in Battersea while designing the world’s most famous tarot deck.

The Rider Waite Tarot, named after its publishers, was wildly successful. Yet its artist was paid little and died leaving debt. Join Emma in delving into Coleman Smith’s life in Battersea and beyond.
