Jim Hart’s Cloudmakers Trio have been playing together for 15 years, releasing five highly acclaimed albums and touring extensively throughout Europe and the US.

Featuring Michael Janisch on double bass and Dave Smith on drums, the Cloudmakers Trio blends powerful grooves with exhilarating improvisation, evocatively mirroring fleeting, ever-changing skyscapes shaped by the cloud-like abstractions of power stations. Their output has included collaborations with guests such as Ralph Alessi and Grammy-winning pianist Leo Genovese. Ahead of a tour in Argentina, they return to the trio format for a UK run, culminating in their first appearance at World Heartbeat.
