Create & Connect: Intergenerational 3D Printing Workshop
Create & Connect is a free, two-part intergenerational 3D printing workshop presented by artist Dr Amtul Kafi Yadullah Bhunnoo in collaboration with Sparkle Roehampton, as part of Welcome to Wandsworth – London Borough of Culture 2025.
In Workshop 1 (Design Session), participants are introduced to 3D printing through interactive demonstrations. Using simple drawing tools and beginner-friendly software, each person designs their own unique model—inspired by memories, cultural motifs, or imagination. No experience needed.
In Workshop 2 (Print & Paint Session), participants return to watch their designs come to life layer by layer on the 3D printer. Once printed, they paint and personalise their creations, adding colour and pattern before taking their finished masterpiece home.
The workshop brings together children aged 9+ and older adults to share skills, stories, and creativity across generations. All materials provided. Spaces limited—booking essential.
