Battersea Jazz Festival Closing Party
The Battersea Jazz Festival will be closing its 2026 run with a Jazz Party. Dave O’Higgins, one of the most popular figures on the international jazz scene, will lead an all-star lineup of some of the finest musicians in London.
The night will be a celebration of jazz at the end of another run of special gigs across Battersea and Clapham from Wednesday 3rd-Saturday 13th June.
Dave O'Higgins is one of the most popular figures in international jazz. With an excellent sense of pacing and presentation, his music is highly personal and recognisable, with a clear sense of melodic development and adventure. As well as having 21 albums as leader to his name, he has performed and recorded with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Phil Woods, Wayne Shorter, Peggy Lee, Joe Lovano, Nancy Wilson, Kurt Elling, Stephane Grappelli, Jimmy Smith, Grant Stewart, Eric Alexander, and countless others. He can be seen regularly across the UK and the rest of the world with his own projects, and as a sideman with some of the finest musicians of today.
“O’Higgins plays with quite exceptional fluency and his fund of ideas never runs out.”—THE OBSERVER
