Sing to Thrive Choir Pop up at Tooting Market

Date
Tue 17 - Wed 18 Mar 2026

No Booking Required

Local choirs pop up at Tooting Market as part of Sing to Thrive, showcasing the amazing choirs in the borough to highlight the health and social benefits of singing.

Tuesday 17 March

Opening the evening, Wandsworth Community Transport runs transport services for elderly and disabled residents of Wandsworth and their choir is made up of members and volunteers who often perform at old peoples homes, dementia cafes, community organisations and other events.

Next we'll be treated to music from The Southwest Songbirds, a friendly and fun, all-female community-based choir - and the evening closes with a performance from The Great Gustos - so named because that is what they sing with!

Weds 18 March

A school choirs programme throughout the afternoon featuring Tooting Primary School, Hillbrook Primary, Graveney School Y7 and Y8 choirs, and Fircroft Primary School, plus the wonderful Heart and Lungs Singing Group will also be singing as part of the programme.
