Ways to promote:

  • Post about upcoming events on your social media channels
  • Include event info in your organisation’s newsletter or WhatsApp group
  • Add a banner or badge to your website or email signature
  • Speak to friends, neighbours, and colleagues about joining in
  • Share posters in your local shop, school, or community centre

What can I promote?

We have an exciting schedule of events taking place across Wandsworth. You can promote any of the events on our What's On calendar, or share an experience you've had at one.

Social Media and Newsletters

  • Tag us to get noticed
Mention @welcometowandsworth on Instagram and Facebook, and @wtowandsworth on X, to shout out to us on social media. We’ll be keeping an eye out to share and support posts where possible, but please note that as a small team delivering a high-volume programme, we cannot guarantee this.
  • Use #Wandsworth2025 to join the conversation
This is the official hashtag for the year-long celebration. Including it in your posts helps us amplify your content and connect it to the wider programme. Whether you're sharing behind-the-scenes moments, event highlights, or community stories—tag it with #Wandsworth2025 so we can celebrate together. Other hashtags to use include: #WelcomeToWandsworth #LondonBoroughofCulture #LondonBoroughofCulture2025
  • Download ready-to-use graphics and social media posts
We’ve created a set of Made in Wandsworth logos that you can add to your social media content, leaflets or other promotional materials. We've also provided drafts for social media posts and newsletters that you can adapt for your own events and experiences. These assets are designed to be flexible and easy to use across different platforms.
