About Welcome to Wandsworth
Wandsworth is the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture 2025. Led by Wandsworth Council in partnership with local people and organisations, Welcome to Wandsworth is a year-long programme featuring hundreds of cultural events and creative initiatives, taking place from April 2025 – March 2026.

Public promotion plays a vital role in amplifying the impact of the London Borough of Culture. By sharing stories, events, and creative voices across your community networks, you can help us bring our year of culture to life!
Whether you're a local resident, community group, business, or just a proud supporter, there are lots of easy ways to help spread the word about the London Borough of Culture and make an impact.
Ways to promote:
- Post about upcoming events on your social media channels
- Include event info in your organisation’s newsletter or WhatsApp group
- Add a banner or badge to your website or email signature
- Speak to friends, neighbours, and colleagues about joining in
- Share posters in your local shop, school, or community centre
