The finalists for Rock The Grand, the ultimate band competition in Wandsworth, have now been announced!
Rock the Grand's first round panel of judges was made up of professional musician Adam Martin, Venue Manager of The Half Moon Putney Nina Jackson, and a representative from Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture team.
The judges were very impressed by the high quality of the entries and had to make some tough decisions - all of the bands who entered should be congratulated. It was wonderful to see such amazing young talent in Wandsworth.
The Rock the Grand finalists are:

- Painted Faces
- Red Handed
- Soft Focus
- Malterez Jazz Band
- Any Which Way
Join us on Monday 2 March for the Rock The Grand finale, as Wandsworth’s best young bands battle it out in front of a live panel including professional musicians. The winning band will take home a £200 prize voucher, a recording opportunity at a professional studio and the coveted Rock The Grand trophy.
This event forms part of Wandsworth’s year as London Borough of Culture 2025 and is delivered in partnership with Wandsworth Music and Wandsworth Council.
