Are you a Wandsworth-based artist with experience of working in community settings? Eager to develop your creative health practice through paid training and residencies? This is for you!

Deadline 13 April

As part of Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture, we are focusing on harnessing the power of the arts to tackle health inequities and improve wellbeing. We will be running an exciting sector development programme for global majority artists to learn about creative health practice and deliver culturally relevant residencies in primary care and secondary settings and local grassroots organisations.

Running from June 2025 through to March 2026, we’re looking for 10 talented artists to contribute to developing a representative creative health sector by engaging with a mix of online and in-person training, action learning sets and a residency to co-design and test creative health programmes with their host organisation.

This project aligns with our Arts and Culture strategy aiming to ‘support residents to start well, live well, and age well, using culture as means to improve health and wellbeing’ alongside the 5 key themes of Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture year – ‘the power of culture to connect, unite, heal, nourish and activate.’
