Wandsworth Heritage Collection

The Wandsworth Heritage Collection contains approximately 14,000 objects that reflect lives led by the people of Wandsworth through the ages.

Since 2023, almost 300 objects have been researched and catalogued by a team including Wandsworth Council staff, students from the University of Roehampton, and interns and volunteers, for the public to view online. The digitised collection includes items such as vintage theatrical costumes, paintings and watercolours depicting local scenes, subjects and people, household objects, and sculpture.

This is an on-going digitisation project, supported by the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
