I have a great idea. How can I tell you about it?
We have been delighted by the level of enthusiasm and interest in London Borough of Culture 2025, with many people getting in touch with ideas for projects and exhibitions. We'd love to be able to make all of them happen, however we don’t have capacity to support every project. For this reason, we’re encouraging everyone with an idea for a project or exhibition to look out for our London Borough of Culture Community Investment Grants, and participants callouts to see if your project is a good fit - check out all these opportunities on our Get Involved page. You can also subscribe to our Creative Industries newsletter and follow us on social media to stay up to date.
If you're not looking for funding but would like your project to be part of the year, look out for opportunities launching in early 2025 to create a creative profile and to register a cultural event as part of our what’s on calendar.
I’m a Wandsworth resident. How can I get involved?
We can’t wait to deliver a year to remember with residents and communities. There are many ways you can get involved such as joining our volunteer programme (coming soon), registering an event as part of our what’s on calendar (coming soon), responding to a callout, or coming along to an event next year! Opportunities will be published in the Get Involved section of this website, and you can also subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media to hear about new opportunities.
What funding/grant opportunities are available?
If you are a Wandsworth based creative, look out for our London Borough of Culture Community Investment Grants, opening in 2025. More information on the upcoming grants can be found on our Get Involved page. You can also subscribe to our Creative Industries newsletter and follow us on socials to stay up to date.
You can find here all the other council funding available. The Wandsworth Enterprise Hub also has a brilliant list of funders, some of which may be suitable for you.
How can my school take part in the year?
Opportunities for schools to get involved are being shared in our Creative Schools and Education newsletter - a termly roundup of news, training and opportunities in arts and education. You can sign up here.
How can I offer my freelance services?
We are building a database of Wandsworth-based photographers, videographers, designers and more. Please fill out our Freelancer Form. Work is not guaranteed, and we will be in touch if your services are required. We aim to prioritise those who are Wandsworth-based, as part of a commitment to supporting our borough’s creative economy.
Can I use the Welcome to Wandsworth logo?
Partner packs are being developed for those who are putting on an event as part of the London Borough of Culture 2025 programme. These will be ready in early 2025, ahead of the start of the year in April.
