Someone has dropped an atom bomb on Copenhagen. With all-out war looming, an underqualified staffer in the British government must somehow stimulate a response from his idiotic superiors. There is just one thing standing in his way: Microsoft teams.

Operation Blank is the latest offering from the darkly comedic brain of up-and-coming Scottish writer, George Grant. Taking place entirely within the realms of a fictitious Microsoft Teams call, Grant lures us into a bizarre, heightened reality only slightly detached from our own.

Making its debut at Wandsworth Arts Fringe, the show takes on themes of unfulfillment and existentialism, deftly walking the line between surreal humour and biting criticism of our modern online world.
