Drawing upon the parallels between Shakespeare’s original performance conditions (performed in natural light, relaxed, immersive spaces by a company of working-class artists) and contemporary poetics of access & inclusion (through conscious casting, relaxed performance & accessible venues), Worlds Elsewhere combine founding director Kate Andrews’ award-winning 10-year career making Shakespeare with her background in immersive events & egalitarian outlook, creating Shakespeare for the many.
