I love Wandsworth's vibrant community spirit, which provides the foundation for its exceptional celebration of diversity and the arts. The borough actively fosters this cultural richness, offering a variety of venues and theatres that act as hubs for creative expression. This combination ensures that the inherent diversity of cultures here is not just present, but continually showcased, making the cultural scene both inclusive and uniquely dynamic.
Fée Uhssi, a Franco-Nigerian Fashion Artist/Wearable Art Designer and qualified therapist, champions zero waste and ethical fashion via the Art of Fashion Wrapping. Her culturally mindful practice bridges tradition to modernity.
As an experienced workshop facilitator, she uses textile art history, colour theory, and African symbolism to create transformative creative activities that foster body positivity and creative health.
She directs complex community projects: Roots of Radiance (Heritage/Healing workshops, BH365); Life is Change (Metamorphosis/Fashion); Empowering Fashion Shows (WAF, upcycling, reclaiming narratives); and community events featuring local talent.
Her impactful methodology integrates arts, heritage, and therapeutic wisdom.
