Izba Arts

Izba Arts logo in red and black.

We love that people are open to learning about different cultures, and as Wandsworth is such a vibrant place, we believe that it's the perfect home for us. Having been a key settlement for people from Eastern Europe and the former Eastern Bloc because of its connection by river, Wandsworth is a hub for creativity, stories to be uncovered and told.

Izba Arts is an international cultural platform, media publication and consultancy amplifying contemporary art and creative communities from Central & Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Founded by artist and curator Ksenia Kazintseva, Izba Arts reaches a global audience of over 40,000 readers, offering insight into a region whose cultural influence is often underrepresented in Western contexts.

Alongside its editorial and curatorial work, Izba Arts provides advertising, cultural consultancy and audience engagement services for institutions and ethical brands seeking to connect meaningfully with audiences from the Former Eastern Bloc. The organisation specialises in culturally sensitive storytelling, campaign strategy and research-led audience insight, ensuring representation that is nuanced, authentic and free from stereotypes.

Our hire policy

We've loved engaging with the local community at 575 Wandsworth Road and Battersea Arts Centre to share cultural narratives and showcase art and performances from across the world. We're excited to see the Eastern European and Central Asian communities coming together to share their art, make together with others in the borough, and imagine a shared peaceful future together.
