Ksenia Kazintseva
Wandsworth is an incredibly diverse and vibrant place, and the community is really warm - it's been a joy living here for over 5 years now, and working with local schools and arts centres to deliver creative workshops, talk about Eastern European culture (to which Wandsworth has historically been home) and take part in the cultural landscape here. I'm also really interested in how Wadnsworth has been home to key positive changes through time including the suffragettes meeting at BAC.
Ksenia Kazintseva is an artist, curator and creative director working across contemporary art, socially engaged practice and cultural research. She is the founder of Izba Arts, an international media and curatorial platform amplifying artists and cultural workers from Central & Eastern Europe, with a global readership of over 40,000.
Ksenia’s artistic practice explores heritage, memory and collective identity, drawing on her Ukrainian and Russian background to create work that bridges divides through storytelling, participation and shared making. Her work spans immersive installations, murals, painting, public artworks and community-led workshops, often developed in collaboration with local communities, institutions and festivals across the UK, Europe, Central Asia and the United States.
Alongside this work, Ksenia offers art workshops, coaching, public installations, mural projects, graphic design and visual storytelling, as well as creative direction for cultural organisations.
