At CussTOMs UK, creativity is more than what we make, it’s how we inspire change. Through fashion, customisation and creative experiences, we help young people and communities transform perspectives, own their purpose and mandate their power.
CussTOMs UK C.I.C. uses fashion, art and customisation as tools to build confidence, identity and purpose. From our studio at Caius House Youth Centre, we deliver creative workshops, live customisation experiences and opportunities for young people and young adults to develop practical and creative skills.
Our ambition is to grow our network across Wandsworth, collaborate on meaningful creative and community projects, and build relationships with schools, youth organisations, local businesses, creatives, funders and commissioners.
Wandsworth has become an important part of our journey, providing a base for our studio and opportunities to work with local young people and partners. We’re excited to connect, collaborate and contribute to the borough’s growing creative community.
What do you love about culture in Wandsworth?
What we love most about Wandsworth is how multicultural, creative and welcoming it is. Being London Borough of Culture 2025 gave the borough the spotlight and upgrade it deserves! We especially love the focus on young people, making arts, culture and creative opportunities accessible and affordable for children. There’s a real openness to creativity here, and it feels like a borough that wants its communities to be part of what’s growing.
What makes Wandsworth a creative place to live and work?
Wandsworth makes creativity visible; from its customised bridges to campaigns reminding young people how valued and needed they are. Creativity begins with imagination, and so much imagination is found in children. The borough’s growing focus on youth, arts and creative opportunities shows an understanding that investing in young people means investing in Wandsworth’s creative future.
