Hilaire

I am a freelance creative writer of poetry and fiction, and lead creative writing workshops in community settings. My published writing includes a novel, a co-authored poetry collection London Undercurrents uncovering the hidden histories of women north and south of the river, and poetry inspired by urban nature. I also lead guided walks around Battersea, focussed on the area's heritage. I am a member of The Battersea Society and serve on its Heritage Committee. I have researched and written heritage articles for the Society's website and quarterly magazine, and the Nine Elms Arts and Culture noticeboards. In 2022 I researched the food-growing history of Nine Elms for New Covent Garden Market's cultural programme.
