A Sizzling Summer Programme
Last summer saw a brilliant line up of festivals, from Wandsworth Arts Fringe that reached over 24,000 people, to a bumper Wandsworth Heritage Festival celebrating Wandsworth’s rich history!
The summer continued with brand-new Tooting festival Country on the Common and glorious open-air concerts at Battersea Park in Concert, both reaching over 10,000 people.
We celebrated the creativity of our primary schools during three summer showcases, full of theatre and spoken word, music and dance, taking place at key cultural venues across the borough. From eclectic musical line ups to collage art displayed outside the town hall, our summer showcases had it all!
Urban flow saw almost 500 people take part in a bold, vibrant procession through Roehampton's streets, and Liberty Festival shone a spotlight on the best disabled artists in Wandsworth and London!
