Schools Microgrants Gallery
Take a look at the range of projects that have been made possible for Wandsworth schools thanks to a London Borough of Culture microgrant.
We are proud to celebrate the fantastic projects that schools across Wandsworth have been running during our London Borough of Culture year. With projects covering a wide range of skills and subjects, these projects have allowed pupils and staff to demonstrate their creativity in art, music, writing, dance, cookery, history and more.
St Anselm's RC Primary School: Creativity Week
St Anselm's RC Primary School applied for a microgrant to support and enhance a wide range of activities and celebrations as part of their Creativity Week at the start of the London Borough of Culture year.

Graveney School: Furzedown Literary Festival
Students in year 10 at Graveney met former-pupil and published novelist Michael Donkor for an inspiring talk and workshop about creative writing. Students are now working on their own creative writing and will produce an anthology of short stories.

Ronald Ross Primary School: VE Day
Ronald Ross Primary School marked VE Day with song, dance and music performances by the whole school, collaborating with Don Rae Dance Academy and music specialist Jay Bevan. Families, friends and governors attended and were able to enjoy 'ration food' and a visit to a pop-up museum.

Beatrix Potter Primary School: Immersive Alice in Wonderland
120 KS2 pupils at Beatrix Potter Primary School worked with Bounce Theatre to put on a fantastic immersive production of Alice in Wonderland across the school playground. Pupils and teachers created beautiful props and costumes to transform different areas of the school, and gave two performances for families and friends.
