Creative CPD Programme

We are excited to launch a fantastic creative CPD programme as part of London Borough of Culture, celebrating and encouraging creativity in and outside the classroom.

The creative CPD programme has been designed in consultation with creative partners and teachers across Wandsworth. Every session will support staff to build confidence in creative approaches to learning, feel more confident using creativity in the classroom, build networks with colleagues at different schools and connect with a wide range of cultural organisations in the borough. The programme will be delivered in partnership with a wide range of local cultural organisations across Wandsworth, including the visual arts, theatre, music and more.

Sessions will be suitable for all educators, including teachers, teaching assistants, LSAs and support staff where relevant. Please note that participation in the CPD programme is free for all educators, and this offer is open to non-fee-paying schools only.

Keep an eye out for announcements!

Highlights from the Summer term

We were thrilled to welcome 40 teachers from across Wandsworth to a range of CPD sessions during the summer term. Wandsworth Music delivered a fantastic session on music production, Group 64 ran an interactive workshop on using drama techniques to encourage creative writing, and artist Grace Holliday worked with teachers to develop confidence in creative skills for the classroom.

We look forward to inspiring more teachers at creative CPD sessions during Wandsworth's year as London Borough of Culture.
