Stephen Wadcock

A portal in ink to another landscape

What I value most about culture in Wandsworth is its mix of local community spirit with international vision. Galleries, studios, and cultural spaces thrive alongside grassroots initiatives, making it a place where art feels both connected and accessible. The borough’s diverse cultural heritage, festivals, and creative networks create a living dialogue that inspires collaboration and experimentation.

Stephen Wadcock is a London-based multidisciplinary artist and founder of SUPERWRX, a platform for cultural futures and collective intelligence. Working across photography, print, painting and installation, his practice explores abstraction, memory distortion, and the search for a new sublime through horizons, seascapes and symbolic thresholds. Rooted in authentic intent and refusal of spectacle, his work creates conditions for awe, attention, and perceptual transformation. Currently undertaking an MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins (2025–2027), he is developing immersive installations and collaborative projects that connect art, neuroscience, and AI research.

Our hire policy

Wandsworth’s creativity comes from its balance of nature and city life. Riverside walks, commons, and historic architecture give artists unique landscapes of inspiration, while strong cultural investment supports emerging talent. Its proximity to central London, combined with a collaborative local network of studios, galleries, and makers, makes Wandsworth an ideal place to create, connect, and contribute to a thriving creative economy.
