A Palace of Varieties - The Clapham Grand's 125th Birthday
This January, we’re throwing our doors open for a night that celebrates The Clapham Grand in all its 125 years of glory - and we’d love you to join us!
Our Birthday Show is a huge variety night celebrating The Grand's past, present and future.
Our extra special host with the most, Jayde Adams, will take us through an evening of comedy, drag, live music & cabaret telling the story of our rich and varied history. Afterwards the show turns into a party as DJs from our fave club nights past and present bring you an old school disco ‘til late.
The line up: Jayde Adams, Tayce, Sam Campbell, Jonny Woo, Josh Berry, Lisa Maffia, Beans on Toast, Sink The Pink, Dr Glitz & The Fabulous Flirtations, The Vegetable Orchestra, The Beyonce Experience, Hugo Jennings, Bailey J Mills, Cutie Ehippingham, London School of Samba, The Groove Chorus, Forbidden Nights, Gallifrey Cabaret, Herr & Me Ham It Up, Elektra Fence, Just May, Miss Leighding and The Grand's Dreamteam.
Expect a riot of comedy, cabaret, music, drag, archive moments and surprise guests as we relive 125 years of joy, resilience and reinvention.
Doors open 6.30pm / Show times approx 7.30pm - 10.30pm / Disco 'til late!
Supported by Wandsworth Council, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Mayor of London, this special event forms part of Wandsworth’s London Borough of Culture 2025 celebrations.
Tickets can be purchased for a minimum of £10, with guests invited to donate whatever they can towards The Grand’s Restoration Fund. Contributions from the birthday bash will go towards vital restoration and refurbishment work to the Grade II listed building. Your support will help keep this historic landmark venue standing for the next 125 years, so future generations can dance, laugh and fall in love right where you did.
