Wandsworth Symphony Orchestra
Autumn Concert
Date
Sat 28 Nov 2026
Join us for our Autumn Concert featuring works by Strauss, Dvorak, Liszt and Borodin with a special guest soprano.
The 60+ piece Wandsworth Symphony has a superlative track record of bringing exciting orchestral music to the Borough. Their next concert evokes autumn moods with Borodin's Polovstian Dances and Liszt's rarely heard but very exciting tone poem, Mazeppa. In addition there's a fairytale set to music by the ever-popular Dvořák, 'The Wood Dove', but pride of place must surely go to a performance of Richard Strauss' wonderful 'Four Last Songs', sung by local soprano Ella de Jongh.
