Conversing with the Ghazal is a practical, generative workshop for absolute beginners and seasoned writers.
Join to discuss the cultural beliefs embedded in the form, considering order, repetition and meaning.
Gita Ralleigh shares techniques for writing traditional and contemporary ghazals, drawing on poets such as Agha Shahid Ali, Mona Arshi & Zeina Hashem Beck.
Rishika Williams shares the analytical tools she has developed to explore the choices the form presents.

Tickets include a signed copy of Gita Ralleigh's new pamphlet Empirical (The Braag, RRP £7.50).
