Tap dancing for Adult Beginners
Learn basic Tap technique, achievable for all ages. You can mark progress by taking ISTD Adult Tap Tests (Levels and Medals) if you like, and perform in Shows and the Children-in-Need yearly Tapathon. Wear whatever you like - Wednesdays at 6.45pm
We dance during state school term times, and you can drop in any Wednesday! Wear anything (some come straight from work, some wear leggings and t-shirts or tracksuits or regular clothing). All ages are welcome, and if you're past retirement age, you can be confident that you'll be taught safely by a qualified and experienced teacher. One lady began aged 78, and gained 93 marks out of 100 for her Adult Tap Test aged 79! (You don't have to take any tests, but some want to work towards something.
It's a very friendly class with no pressure, so give it a try! You can call 07900 153731 to check our term times, or see on our website. There are options to pay-as-you-go (£12 per class), or pay half-termly or monthly (£9 per class), which takes a couple of weeks to set up. If you want to commit, you can just pay the reduced price during the interim. Ring the bell on double double doors nearest the 77/87/452 bus stop in Wandsworth Road ( ouir sign is on the door).
