Friday Women’s Creative Space
Friday creative gatherings at BAC in June 2026 for women exploring textile and mixed-media practice. Each week offers open studio time, gentle guidance, and space to develop personal work through stitching, collage, weaving, and shared inspiration.
This is a relaxed, open studio-style environment where women can work on their own creative projects in good company. Each session offers space to make, explore ideas, and develop personal work through stitching, collage, embroidery, weaving, and other textile practices.
There is no fixed lesson plan. Participants can continue ongoing projects, start something new, or follow a gentler pace depending on their needs. The facilitator is present to offer informal support, share techniques, and take part in the creative process alongside the group.
Across the month, the sessions include open making, texture and storytelling with materials, introduction to simple weaving approaches, and time for developing or finishing individual pieces.
Women are invited to bring their own materials and works-in-progress such as fabric, thread, yarn, paper, or journals. Some shared resources are also available.
The space is informal, supportive, and focused on creative wellbeing.
