Join the procession to mark the opening of the pavillion of Transient Belonging/s in the Wandle Delta.

A collective procession marks the opening of the pavilion of “Transient Belonging/s” and its programme.

The Pavilion research group and guests walk from Wandsworth Town Train Station to the pavilion site, a water-surrounded peninsula in Wandsworth. They carry discarded objects - suspended between usefulness and disposal, attachment and release - that will become part of the temporary spatial structure. They move through the infrastructures and material flows of the city that shape how objects circulate, lose value and are reconsidered.

Upon arrival the pavilion is opened up as an intermediate spatial condition - for assembly, encounter and reflection for the duration of it's time.
