Join the fun on Thessaly Road for a free, family-friendly arts festival packed with live performances, face painting, food, and creative activities for all ages! For the first time, the event spans two full days with Thessaly Road closed for even more music, movement, and celebration. Enjoy a solar-powered stage, dance workshops, pedal-powered smoothies, pizza-making, beatboxing, arts and crafts, walkabout performers, street parties, guided tours, and tasty street food.
Launched in 2019, Happy Streets was inspired by Yinka Ilori’s colourful redesign of the Thessaly Road underpass, linking the Savona, Patmore, and Carey Gardens estates.
