We’re calling on dancers, dance groups, and anyone with a passion for movement to join us for a spectacular celebration! Get in touch by 22 August.
Are you a dancer or part of a dance organisation? We’d love to collaborate with you. All dance styles are welcome - bring your unique flair and energy.
Who can join?
Participants must be aged 16 and over. We’re especially keen to hear from Roehampton residents, but people from all areas are welcome.
Rehearsals
- Led by world-class choreographers from Tavaziva, Kinetika, and Attakkalari (India).
- Flexible scheduling in August to suit your group’s availability.
- Choose between two 2.5-hour sessions or one 4-hour session.
- Larger groups are welcome!
What you’ll do
- Learn a brand-new movement with silk flags.
- Master a mass dance routine.
- Be part of a vibrant procession through the streets.
Not a dancer?
You can still take part! We’re also looking for flag bearers to carry our beautiful, hand-crafted silk flags in the procession.
