The Springfield Village Public Art Open Call invites participants to create public artworks for Springfield Village in Tooting Bec, London.
The artworks should be informed by Tooting Bec's character and aim to establish a cultural legacy.
This commission aims to create site-specific, budget-appropriate and meaningful permanent public artworks at Springfield Village, a new mixed-use neighbourhood in Tooting Bec, London.
The artworks may explore themes of mental wellbeing and the destigmatisation of mental health while reflecting on the history and future of the Springfield Village site.

The Public Seating Open Call invites architects, designers and creative practitioners to propose two bespoke pieces of street furniture for Springfield Village, a new mixed-use neighbourhood in Tooting Bec, London.
Springfield Village Public Seating Open Call invites designers to submit two bespoke pieces of street furniture, which should be accessible and durable.
The benches will be installed on hard-standing areas with foundations and should combine functionality with creative expression.
Designs must be practical, durable, distinctive, inclusive and accessible, with an innovative, sustainable, high-quality contemporary aesthetic.

Springfield Spark Community Fund is now also live
Springfield Spark is a new community fund set up to help local organisations and groups make the most of the new park at Springfield Village.
It’s all about supporting projects that bring people together, celebrate local culture and diversity and make the park a welcoming space for everyone. Whether it’s organising activities, improving green spaces, or helping people get active outdoors – Springfield Spark aims to support local organisations deliver initiatives have a positive impact on people’s health and wellbeing.
The fund is open to constituted community groups, charities and social enterprises in the London Borough of Wandsworth, with a focus on Tooting, Earlsfield and Balham.
The fund is open to apply to from Monday 5 January 2026 until Monday 9 February 2026. The minimum grant available will be £500, and the maximum £5000. Further rounds of funding will be available.
