National Opera Studio Offers Studio Space to Wandsworth Arts Organisations
This summer, the National Opera Studio is offering free studio space to Wandsworth-based arts organisations.
This summer, the National Opera Studio is offering free, central London studio space to individuals and small organisations.
Their studios are available to book until the 7 August, and the offer is open to the following:
- Local Wandsworth-based arts organisations
- Individuals and organisations creating new opera projects
- Small arts organisations led by people from underrepresented communities
There are three spaces available:
The Blackburn Hall
The largest multi-use space ideal for music, theatre and dance.
With its high ceilings, acoustic curtains and sprung floor, it is perfect for rehearsals, performances, auditions, filming, fitness classes, conferences and large presentations.
The Hall is located on the first floor of the building and features two grand pianos, a lighting rig, a PA system and fixed HD cameras. The state-of the-art recording facilities make the Hall an ideal venue for filming and livestreaming, including performances, auditions and demos.
- 100 people capacity
- 10.20m x 13.00m
The Douglas Kane Studio
A fantastic rehearsal space for individuals and ensembles, or to hold auditions or small performances.
This room is also suitable for small classes or board meetings and presentations.
- 25 person capacity (including performers)
- 4.55m x 8.10m
The Carne Studio
The Carne Studio is National Opera Studio's largest practice room. It has two pianos and is ideal for small groups, piano teaching, or individual practice.
- 10 person capacity
- 4.90m x 5.10m
