Looky Rooky is a new augmented reality walking trail developed by Wandsworth’s High Streets team for families and young people to get out, exercise and learn about the Roehampton area!

Between Barnes Station and Putney Heath, the trail encourages you to explore Roehampton and its local landmarks by searching for our five funky rooks on your smartphone. Look for Rambling, Rad, Resilient, Rockstar and Razzle Dazzle Rooks and help them collect all their belongings...

Fun for all ages, all you need is a smartphone with internet. There are five trails to complete, with a special face filter prize when you find them all. Enjoy the animated rooks through the lens of your phone’s camera, put your sound on and follow the scavenger hunt in any order. The app will remember what you’ve collected so you can stop and start as many times as you want, with no need to do it all at once.

Download the letsARgo app on Android or iPhone, find Looky Rooky and you’re ready to hunt!

The Roehampton Rook is inspired by the area’s abundance of rooks, previously called Roehampton in the 14th Century for this same reason. The characters were chosen for the app by young people at the Base Youth Club who also named the trail Looky Rooky, and young people from Rosslyn Park FC drew the skateboards collected on the Rad Rook Trail.
