Have you ever organised a party, painted a mural, made music, or been to a festival and thought "I’d love to do something like that here"? Now’s your chance!
Have you ever organised a party, painted a mural, created some music or attended a festival and wondered if you could do something like that…right here in Roehampton? Well, here is your chance to do just that! The Roehampton Trainee Producers scheme will teach you the skills needed to create and programme an Art Wall on the Alton Estate and throw a creative launch event. No event experience necessary – you just need to be aged 18 – 25 and live in Roehampton. You’ll even be paid London Living Wage to come along and take part!
Over 10 sessions, you’ll explore:
- Setting your creative vision
- How to plan and programme an event
- Murals and public art in community spaces
- Accessibility and inclusion
- Marketing and budgeting
- Building connections in your community and the creative sector
