As part of Liberty Festival, the award-winning Chocolate Films, who are based in Wandsworth, were commissioned to visit special schools and units in the borough to create unique video portraits of six pupils, celebrating who they are and telling the story of their creative passions.
On Wednesday 24th September, the launch day of Liberty Festival, we were thrilled to hold a private screening event to celebrate these young people and share these amazing videos with their friends, families and teachers.
You can now watch all six video portraits on our website, as well as a short reel featuring other pupils from across Wandworth’s special schools, talking about how they like to be creative and what creativity means to them.
The six video portraits will also be included in Chocolate Films’ 1000 Londoners project, which shines a spotlight on different experiences and perspectives across the city.
The films are now available to watch here.
