Architectural design by the artist Edward J. Ashenden (1896-1952), titled "Design for a drinking fountain in marble". This work is undated. Ashenden was born at Wandsworth Common and studied at the Putney School of Art. Along with skills as an artist, he was a talented designer and model-maker, making dioramas for the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, including of Michael Faraday and Antoine Lavoisier.
