Drawing by the artist Edward J. Ashenden (1896-1952), titled "St. Mary's Church, Shoreham, Sussex (details of vaulting, S. aisle of choir). This work is dated 24.11.1914- 25.11.1914. Ashenden was born at Wandsworth Common and studied at the Putney School of Art. Along with skills as an artist, he was a talented designer and model-maker, making dioramas for the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, including of Michael Faraday and Antoine Lavoisier.
