Miss Grace Fanner MA (1870–1954) was Headmistress of Mayfield School, Putney, from 1907 to 1934. A respected educational leader, she guided the school through a period of growth and reform, laying foundations for its later transition to comprehensive education.

Artist Biography

Thomas Cantrell Dugdale (1880–1952) Thomas Cantrell Dugdale was a British portrait and subject painter, textile designer, and war artist. Trained in Manchester, London, and Paris, he exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and became a Royal Academician in 1942. His work combined elegance and strong draughtsmanship, often reflecting his experience as a war artist in Egypt and Palestine. Dugdale also advised the textile firm Tootal Broadhurst Lee and was married to the painter Amy Katherine Browning.
